The leader of SPLM in Opposition Dr Riek Machar on Monday arrived in Juba to discuss outstanding issues in the Revitalized Peace Agreement.
He was accompanied by Sudanese Sovereign Council led by Hamdan Daglo Hemetti.
Presidential Advisor on Security Affairs Tut Kew gatluak says President Kiir is holding talks with Dr Machar, Sudanese opposition groups and the Sovereign Council top officials.
There are two events today taking place in the State House, President Salva Kiir meeting Sudanese authorities and later he will meet Dr Machar, he explained.
The last visit of Dr Riek Machar to Juba was on October 31, 2018 during the peace celebrations after signing of the Revitalised Peace Agreement.
