The government is ready to ensure that the timeline for the implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement is met, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, Governor of Yei River State, told Christians at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday.
He admitted that the national government is facing a number of challenges in the security arrangements, Radio Easter reports.
Adil reminded the faithful that formation of the transitional government is near in November and that cantonment exercise is moving on well.
The process of the screening the forces for the training will start soon and some forces will be taken as VIP protection, disclosed the governor.
He cited financial support as another challenge which he clarified that it took long time for the national government to mobilize adequate logistics.
Adil appealed to citizens in all parts of the country to accept peace.
