South Sudan NGO Forum says it is ‘very sad to see humanitarian aid workers who are committed to serve people in need killed.
Pius Ojara, Forum Director, says the families of the slain aid workers are subjected to sorrow for losing their dear once.
He tells CRN in an interview that the Forum felt that it will be an honour to publicly pay respect and recognize them this month.
Dr Ojara says with the death of the six aid workers, it has become more urgent to honour them.
He discloses that they have started discussing how and when to honour the lives of the deceased aid workers.
Dr Ojara discourages killing of relief workers because it disrupts delivery of services.
He calls on the authorities to protect aid workers.
The Director urges the government to investigate and bring the perpetrators to book.
