Eastern Equatoria State Parliament on Tuesday approved eight new ministers Governor, Louis Lobong Lojore appointed with gubernatorial decree.
The parliament chaired by Deputy Speaker Paul Napwon vetted and commended appointments of the eight ministers without gripe, Radio Emmanuel reported.
Former minister of Agriculture and Forestry, John Ochan was approved as Cabinet and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, former Youth and Sports minister, Mark Akio Ukinbul approved as Information and Telecommunication minister.
The Parliament also approved the former Information and Telecommunication minister, Clement Chichim to lead Agriculture and Forestry ministry while the former Gender and Social Development minister, Paska Hifita Oduho was given green light to lead Education ministry.
Animal Resources and Fisheries former minister, Patrick Lodinga was moved to lead Youth and Sports ministry, Lokai Iko Loteyo, Local Government and Law Enforcement minister, Martin Lorika Lojam, Minister for Animal Resources and Fisheries were among those the Parliament vetted.
The house also approved Maurice Kaunda Merisiya as Finance, Commerce, Investment and Economic Planning Minister.
Acting minister for Cabinet and Parliamentary Affairs Hassan Alex Urbano presented the list of the new ministers to the Assembly for approval.
The reshuffle put former Local Government and Law Enforcement minister, Charles Lokonoi to replace Lokai Iko Loteyo as Kapoeta North County Commissioner.
Former Finance minister Sam Felix Makuja replaced his successor, Maurice Kaunda Merisiya as Budi County Commissioner.
Former Chairperson of Specialized Committee of Security in the Assembly, Martin Lopir replaced Martin Lorika Lojam as Kapoeta South County Commissioner.
The Governor also issued a third decree relieving State Advisor on Gender, Social Welfare and Human Rights Emilio Paul Loki.
