Changaro Health Care Centre Director in Umdarain County of Nuba Mountains region said they are in dire need of drugs to fight malaria and diarrhoea.
Nimeri Alamin told Radio Voice of Peace that watery and bloody diarrhoea, malaria and pneumonia diseases are infecting residents whose location is far from other medical facilities.
He said some people die due to lack of health service and transport to transfer them to other clinics.
Mr Alamin added that in the previous months they received few drugs from Nuba Secretariat of Health in Kauda, but got finished.
He lamented that now they refer patients to Lumun, Saref and Jegeba clinics for treatment, appealing to local non-governmental organizations to provide medicines for remote population.
Mr Alamin said Changaro Health Care Centre treated over 900 malaria patients in the last few months.
He said four mothers died in Changaro in the course of delivery due to lack of health services.
