Yambio Chamber of Commerce Acting Chairperson said on Thursday they resolved to relocate vendors selling food items by the roadside to improve market conditions.

Daniel Apollo disclosed that they agreed to remove all those selling along the road to a safer side in a peaceful way on Friday, Anisa Radio reported.

He advised those selling on tables at Yambio main market to pay the local taxation to Payam authorities.

Mr Apollo explained that those selling on tables were supposed to pay ten South Sudanese Pounds monthly because they were not able to pay for the license.

He said the local taxation collected from retailers is for development activities at Payam level.

Local communities last week complained lack of space for selling food items along the road side in the main market in town.
