WBG Health Ministry steps up awareness on Ebola

Western Bahr El Ghazal Health Ministry is stepping up awareness exercise on the deadly Ebola disease that became a world health concern.
 
Ebola outbreak in West Africa areas of Nigeria, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone claimed more than 1,000 lives and keeps spreading, Voice of Hope reported.
 
Acting Director Henry Gabriel Sasa advised states bordering the affected countries to take precautions to prevent the rapid spread of the disease.
 
He said the ministry plans to train health officers and sensitize communities on the symptoms and preventive measures against Ebola.
 
The Director cautioned citizens against coming into contact with infected patients in case of any suspected case.
