Christians of Our Lady of Assumption, Loa Parish of Torit Catholic Diocese are on Friday celebrating the feast of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven and the Golden Jubilee of Emeritus Bishop Paride Taban.
Apostolic Administrator Monsignor Thomas Oliha who is presiding over the occasion earlier said the going to heaven of Mary both in body and soul was based on her faith, Emmanuel Radio reported.
The Monsignor on Wednesday raised a catechist to the order of an Acolyte in Loa Parish and confirmed a number of faithful on Thursday.
