Inter- states border tension is growing high between Warrap and Western Bahr El Ghazal over disputed areas of Nyinakok, Alur, Aleltony and Terkweng in Jur River County.
Western Bahr El Ghazal Local Government Minister John Urbano said after the independence the governments focused on South Sudan-Sudan borders and did not start on inter-state and county ones, Voice of Hope reported.
He called for a speedy Warrap-Western Bahr El Ghazal border demarcation to avoid further disputes.
The Minister said Apuk communities in Tonj North during the opening of the Ngo Bagari headquarters claimed that Nyinakok of Jur County belongs to them.
He said a committee headed by himself would go to meet Warrap authorities to sort out border disputes.
Warrap government also formed similar committee to come up with facts related to the disputed territories.
