A priest of Yei Catholic Diocese urged parents and guardians to safeguard their children from accidents to relieve traffic police efforts.
Fr Tom Poru Martin in his Sunday homily at Christ the King Cathedral called on parents to protect their children from uncontrolled consumption of narcotic drugs including chewing of marungi and alcohol leading to mental disturbance, Easter Radio reported.
The priest made the statements following a road accident that killed two people and left five others critically injured and hospitalized at Yei Civil Hospital last week.
