China donates 24 million Dollars to South Sudan

The Vice President of the Republic told journalists that the government of China donated twenty-four million Dollars to South Sudan.
 
James Wani Igga who returned form China on Saturday, explained that 1.4 million US Dollars is for Kiir Mayardit Maternity Hospital’s drugs and medical supplies and another 3.2 million Dollars for humanitarian assistance for displaced people in the country.
 
Vice President Wani Igga said China promised to support the country in agriculture, urban planning, education and scholarship, capacity building and human resource management and SPLM reform.
 
He added that Chinese government would also help South Sudan government in terms of water and waste management.
 
The Vice President said Chinese Communist party expressed readiness to train 40 SPLM cadres from July to September 2014.
 
Vice President Wani Igga said China promised a comprehensive list of other trainings, social development projects, including construction of SPLM head office, Foreign Affairs Ministry, SPLM books publication head office and South Sudan curriculum and email system in the country.
