Western Equatoria Governor on Wednesday told citizens upon arrival to Yambio that the alleged plot to arrest Equatoria Governors by the President of the Republic was false because they did not say and do something wrong.
Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro described the wild rumours as propaganda to tarnish the image of the country and topple the government, Anisa Radio reported.
He said the three Equatoria Governors held a closed door meeting with President Salva Kiir on Tuesday to iron out all differences.
Bakosoro said talking about federalism was a desire of South Sudanese and any body who does not want federal governance should talk about what he or she wants.
He vowed to continue talking about federalism until the people of South Sudan get it.
Central Equatoria government earlier refuted wild rumours circulating around Juba and South Sudan that Governor Clement Wani Konga narrowly escaped assassination and that fighting was almost breaking out.
