Over 500 pupils and 14 teachers at Melijo Primary school in Nimule Payam of Magwi County are at risk of disease outbreak due to lack of latrine.
School Head Teacher Garang John told Emmanuel Radio that teachers cannot help the situation, but only advise pupils to go far to near bushes to defecate.
He appealed for quick completion of toilet construction project to save children from diseases.
Caritas Torit Emergency Coordinator Baala Richard said construction of a toilet by an organization was at a finishing stage.
Caritas Torit also constructed water purification facilities for IDPs and the host community in Nimule town.
