Himango Nursery School head teacher in Tonj South County of Warrap State on Tuesday said they admitted 120 boys and girls, a move to encourage coeducation.
Turpo Juma said during the registration they asked parents and guardians to bring their girls to school because girls were not considered in education, Don Bosco Radio reported.
Ms Juma said their aimed of opening the nursery school and vocational centre was to give quality education to young people.
She explained that they employeed three female teachers in the nursery because they can play mothers’ roles as oppose to male teachers who may beat children and force them to leave school.
The head teacher said the school administration maintains cleanness of the children to avoid them getting sick.
Ms Juma added that peace and prayer was number one to promote development in the county.
Ms Juma urged parents and guardians to allow their children to go to school and vocational training centre for future development.
