Religious Superiors’ Association for South Sudan, RSASS Secretary-General said working in the country requires extraordinary faith formation to face communities’ challenges cautiously.
Sr Anne Kiragu on Thursday told CRN that RSASS was creating formation sessions for religious men and women working in South Sudan to overcome possible challenges awaiting them in their missionary tasks.
She revealed that in 2013, the Religious Superiors had a formation session focusing on reclaiming prophetic roles to practise faith accurately.
Sr Kiragu said in the year 2014, the Superiors were dwelling on small Christian communities to update experiences and responses to challenges confronting the Catholic Church creed in the present situation with necessary cooperation and togetherness.
The Secretary-General disclosed that RSASS was facing a challenge of lack of shelter for seminars’ facility, making the association to overspend on hotel accommodation.
Sr Kiragu hopes once the construction plan for Humanity and Spirituality Centre at Kit materializes, they would overcome the challenge.
