Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese organized a two-day workshop on self-help and saving account training for five personnel on income generation.
Diocesan Operation Director Fr Mathew Zaume told Anisa Radio that the training drew participants from St Mary, St Bakhita, Nzara parishes and heads of departments in parishes.
He promised to extend the workshop to other parishes.
Tombura-Yambio Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro appreciated the Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi for sending its two staff to facilitate the workshop.
He urged participants to implement the knowledge and skills they acquired for the benefit of their parishes, departments and the Diocese at large.
Bishop Hiiboro said the diocese has competent people who need skills in order to develop it.
