Released former SPLM Secretary-General said the ongoing conflict requires frank and deep dialogue to stop South Sudan from collapsing.
Pagan Amum Okiech pointed out that SPLM must engage in frank and deep dialogue to correct past mistakes for peace restoration in the country, Bakhita Radio reported.
He added that there is no doubt that SPLM lost its directions and must engage in talks to usher healing and reconciliation.
The long detained politician accused of masterminding and executing an alleged failed coup attempt said they the four just released recently from jail would make sure they meet and talk to President Salva Kiir Mayardit and SPLM/A in opposition leader Dr Riek Machar Teny to stop the devastating conflict engulfing the whole country.
Mr Amum added that it requires every South Sudanese to wake up and participate in making peace.
He urged citizens to rise up and denounce leaders from misleading the nation.
Mr Amum said peace must come back to South Sudan urging South Sudanese citizens to take the lead in making peace in the country.
