Eastern Equatoria Finance Minister attributed delay in passing of state 2013/2014 fiscal year budget to natural and uncontrolled circumstances.
Felix Makuja told the press on Monday that the budget should be passed since July last year but did not happen due to reasons beyond the nation and the state, Emmanuel Radio reported.
Minister Makuja Stated that an accurate, effective and early preparation of state budget entirely relies on the national one.
He appealed to the national Government to timely release the budget amount to help the state prepare on time.
State Assembly on Monday urged the spending agencies to start preparing their preliminary budget as soon as possible to avoid future delays.
