Traditional chiefs, women and youth representatives from the Wunlit region are holding a peace consultative conference in Rumbek to discuss ways to handle instability in States bordering Warrap, Unity and Lakes.
The four-day conference facilitated by AECOM aims to create a forum for local communities to meet and identify sources of conflicts and develop responses that can mitigate violence within Border States, Good News Radio reported.
The peace consultative conference is an initiative of Viable Support to Transition and Stability or VISTAS program supported by United States Agency for International Development.
