Central Equatoria Labour Director on Friday encouraged more training for civil servants in the government for effective and better service delivery to the citizens.
Mark Morbe Jada said capacity building is essential in nation building and civil servants have to be trained on specific duties and responsibilities. Easter Radio reported.
Mr Morbe said workers could not be appointed or employed without training them on their roles because service delivery would be poor.
He said if the country becomes peaceful many of the civil servants need to be trained abroad.
The director spoke during the closing of the two weeks training of Yei county labor and establishment officers on Friday.
