Caritas on Friday distributed T- shirts to Internally Displaced Persons or IDPs with hygiene promotional messages of washing hands and burning rubbish to combat health hazards in camps.
Yei Caritas Emergency Coordinator Angel Duiik told Easter Radio that the T-shirts promote hygiene by reminding IDPs to wash hands and keep the surrounding clean.
He advised them to wash hands with soap and clean water after visiting latrines.
Camp leader Mathew Gathuel expressed happiness over Caritas’ maintenance of lives at the IDPs camp.
Over 97 IDPs received T-shirts from Caritas organization.
