UNMISS calls for human rights protection

United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS called for protection of human rights in the state.
 
UNMISS State Coordinator Winny Babihuga expressed her gratitude to the state government for its continuous prevention of violence against women, Voice of Hope reported.
 
State Information Minister Derick Alfred Uya stressed the need to eliminate all kinds of violence against women and girls.
 
State Health Minister Isaac Cleto Hassan called on citizens to contribute positively to realization of human rights, transparency and a free corruption society.
 
The celebration at Isaac Stadium in Wau marking the conclusion of 16 days of activism brought together state government officials, NGOs and citizens.
