Wau Catholic Health Training Institute on Friday graduated second batch of 11 nurses including one girl after a three-year training in Molam in Western Bahr El Ghazal.

Speaking during the ceremony, Institute Director Dorothy Dickson called on the community to morally and financially support the graduates to effectively render services, Voice of Hope reported.

Wau Catholic Bishop Rudolf Deng Majak encouraged the graduates to take their services to remote areas.

He called on the new nurses to be messengers to the poor and the marginalized through their health services.

Bishop Deng revealed a plan to upgrade Catholic Health Training Institute into a faculty of Medicine.

The Institute in July graduated 16 nurses of the first batch who started in 2010.
