SPLM pays tribute to Nelson Mandela

The SPLM on Friday paid tribute to the former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela who died on Thursday in Johannesburg.
 
SPLM Deputy Secretary General Ann Itto Leonardo told CRN at South African Embassy in Juba that the late was a man who struggle for justice, and encouraged the whole nation to forgive each other.
 
Dr Itto said there is no person on earth who did what Nelson Mandela has done.
 
The Deputy Secretary General said the death of Mandela is a great lost to SPLM because he was very instrumental in building the party during the struggle for justice.
 
She conveyed SPLM condolences to the people and the government of South Africa on the death of their former President Nelson Mandela.
 
South African Ambassador to South Sudan Gabriel Phemelo Setlhoke said they are celebrating the life of the late hero because he established Nelson Mandela Children’s Funds which helped poor children to graduate.
 
He said the late Mandela showed to South Africans the way and they will fulfil the ideals he fought for.
 
Many South African officials at the Embassy expressed their sorrows for losing their great leader.
