Senior SPLM founding members on Friday called on the party chairman to convene a political bureau meeting to set agenda for National Liberation Council on December 9.
SPLM first Deputy Chairperson Riek Machar and other members criticized Salva Kiir Mayardit for misleading the party and causing chaos and disorders in the country.
He called on the party chairman to convene the political bureau to correct deviations in the party.
Dr Machar added that SPLM should participate fully in consensus and national building.
Senior members including suspended Secretary General Pagan Amum called for practical democracy and rejuvenation of the party.
They promised to die within the party that they want its vision revitalized.
