The Holy Childhood Office in the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba visited the orphanage on Tuesday to share with the orphans the spirit of Christmas.

Holy Childhood Office Coordinator Dominica Anthony told Bakhita Radio that Christmas was the time to share with children.

She urged parents to spend wisely during the season to meet all demands of their family.

Mama Dominica called on public and government officials to visit orphans to show the love of Christ to them.

Youth chaplain Basilio Lokudu prayed for the orphans, asking for protection from God.

He said God would receive the prayers of the little ones.

Fr Lokudu added that when young ones asked God for help, their prayers would be answered because they came from their deepest hearts.

Orphanage Supervisor Abudu Wajo said the majority of the orphans are in the basic education and have completed their exams.

He added that they were preparing for the Christmas celebrations.
