Catholic University brings hope to education

The vice chancellor of South Sudan Catholic University praised the Catholic Church for setting up a strong high learning institution that brings hope to the country.
 
Mathew Pagan appreciated the efforts the Church put together to establish an institution that is contributing to fight against illiteracy in the country.
 
He had a special word of thanks for Bishop Rudolf Deng Majak for approving the Catholic University while he was the President of the Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference and allowing the instituting to operate in the diocesan minor seminary.
 
Fr Pagan also thanked the Comboni Missionaries for allowing the Juba campus to function in their former postulancy for a number of years.
 
He asked the support of the public for the Catholic University because it belongs to everyone and forms the future generations.
 
Fr Pagan said that all the students trained in Catholic University are now able to identify problems and find ways on how they could solve them.
 
He accredited the Church for strengthening the Catholic University through prayers and other social issues.
