Inflation is slightly rising again in South Sudan after heavy rains messed up the supply lines within and without the country.
The National Bureau of Statistics announced that in October the Annual Consumer Price Index increased by 1.2 percent mainly driven by high food prices.
By regions, the annual inflation fell by 1.7 percent in Juba and ten percent in Wau and increased by 7.9 percent in Malakal.
On the other hand, the monthly inflation increased by 1.6 percent between September and October 2013.
By regions, goods were 18.2 percent more expensive in Malakal, and 6.6 cheaper in Juba and 0.5 percent in Wau.
