CES urges vice-president to tackle challenges

Central Equatoria authorities urged the vice president to tackle challenges affecting the state and the nation.
 
This was when sons and daughters of the state on Tuesday sat together to congratulate vice president James Wani Igga, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
Women representative Huda Micah called on Wani Igga to work together with President Salva Kiir to address security issues in Juba and boost education in the country.
 
She added that they want to see specialized hospital built to address maternal health challenges.
 
Youths’ representative Juma David Augustine called on the vice president to redirect opportunities and resources to grassroots people.
 
He urged Wani Igga to invest in youths who are the future of the country.
 
State Legislative Assembly Speaker Naptali Hassan Gali urged the vice president to review and restructure the government.
 
He said Bomas were not effectively working because of lack of government’s support.
 
Mr Wani Igga called on the people to unite and work together for nation building.
 
He promised to put in place necessary steps to address challenges facing the nation.
