A cleric in Yei Catholic Diocese on Sunday warned Christians against dangers of witchcrafts in the community.
Christ the King Parish Priest Tom Poru Martin said societies that depend on superstition powers are backward societies and end at evil way.
He said Christians’ lives depend on God’s power not on witchcraft.
Fr Poru encouraged people to see medical doctors if they are sick because the witchcraft will confuse them, their families and community.
He explained that getting rich and passing exams cannot be got from the witchcraft but students have to study hard and business people have to study business to trade well.
Fr Poru said people who go to witch-doctors will suffer and die miserably.
He reminded people that witchcrafts chased two years a go by the former Commissioner David Lokonga were returning to Yei.
