South Sudan to form national girls’ football team

South Sudan Football Association is planning to form a national team for girls.
 
Yei Central Football Club Coach Ojock Jackson Santos revealed that Yei was chosen in Central Equatoria to participate in the girls’ national football team, Easter Radio reported.
 
He urged NGOs and parents to help girls in developing their talents in football because it is highly rated in the world.
 
The coach said most parents do not allow girls to exercise their sport talents.
 
Mary Konga Joseph a player in Yei Central Football Club said she developed playing football in early 2007.
 
She added that her parents like football and supported her mostly in buying uniform and sport shoes.
 
Ms Konga encouraged parents to value football because it gives girls chances to play abroad.
