Elders in Eastern Equatoria state cautioned the President of the Republic to be careful of wrong elements they termed ‘Hyenas’ in the coming cabinet.

Mark Lokorai the vice-chairperson of Toposa, Nyangatom, Jie and Teus communities in Kapoeta counties advised Salva Kiir Mayardit not to bring in wrong ministers to consume public funds, Emmanuel Radio reported.

He said some individuals in the previous government were corrupt like wild beasts, so President Kiir should be keen and avoid bringing such people.

Mr Lokorai said communities in Eastern Equatoria want to see new faces in the coming cabinet.

He urged President Kiir to represent minor communities to avoid marginalization.

Mr Lokorai requested President Kiir to consider Eastern Equatoria, particularly Kapoeta counties, in the next cabinet appointment.

Mr Lokorai said Toposa, Nyangatom, Jie and Teus communities appealed to the President to form medium size government to deliver services.
