Lasu Payam residents of Yei River County called on the local and the state governments to speed up the rehabilitation of the 28-mile Yei-Lasu road.
Yei-Lasu road rehabilitation started earlier this year, Easter Radio reported.
Payam Director Simon Kenyi James said the payam faces major challenges including poor roads, clean drinking water and telecommunication services.
Yei County Commissioner Juma David Augustine said the county authority and state Government were committed to complete the road.
He told the people of Lasu that the state Physical Infrastructure minister put Yei-Lasu road the top priority.
