A crocodile killed one boy and one dog in Tonj River of Warrap State on Saturday.
Wildlife Officer James Rel Yak told Don Bosco Radio on Monday that they received a report that one boy and one dog were killed by a crocodile.
He said the boy went to bathe in the river and the crocodile caught him.
Mr Rel advised Tonj South residents not to take their animals or go to bathe at the river early in the morning or late in the evening.
He also advised prison authorities not to allow inmates to bathe at the river early in the morning or late evening.
