Yei River County Commissioner on Sunday called upon the citizens to turn up for reconciliation prayers on the eve of the second independence anniversary.
Juma David Augustine urged the citizens to come and pray together for reconciliation on July 8, Easter Radio reported.
Commissioner Juma emphasized on the need to dedicate Yei Freedom Square to God.
The commissioner appealed to the citizens to pray for those representing Yei in the sports competition in Western Bahr el Ghazal so that they return home safely.
Mr Juma delivered the message on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
