Eastern Equatoria State Deputy Governor urged citizens to use all peaceful ways to persuade rebel groups to abandon their activities and join the nation building process.
Jerome Gama Surur said the time came for citizens to use their peaceful tactics to make rebels come home, Emmanuel Radio reported.He said it is time for the citizens to enjoy the fruits of their hard earned freedom in independent nation.
Mr Surur said people might condemn the rebel groups but the fact is they are being used to cause havoc in the country.
HeÊ called on citizens to shun tribalism and unite because every one contributed for the liberation of the country.
Mr Surur said conflicts in the country would end if the government achieved its goal of rising to a super nation by 2020.
