Eastern Equatoria SPLM Deputy chair cautioned party members to distance themselves from the ongoing power struggle at the national secretariat.
Felix Okanyi Remijo said this kind of needless struggle is not helpful and only destroys the party, Emmanuel Radio reported.Mr Okanyi appealed to the top leadership of the party and the entire membership to remain united and refrain from political divisions.
He held party members responsible for any future party failure warning that no one from outside would come to rescue the ongoing internal political rift in the country.
Mr OkanyiÊ said SPLM members should embrace the party core values and principles for the party and the nation to progress.
He made the remarks while addressing the installation of the new SPLM-Women League committee in Torit.
