A Sudanese military aircraft bombed several villages in Blue Nile State, killing four civilians, including a child, and injuring another three on Tuesday.
SPLM-North spokesperson Arnu Ngutulu Lodi said in an e-mailed statement that the assault inflicted heavy losses on civilian population and their property.He said the Antonov dropped 16 bombs in Gerdan, Ura, Chali and Mayak Babras villages.
He added that the attack created horror and fear among the local civilians.
Mr Ngatulu said the random bombings made worse the situation of the already suffering citizens in Blue Nile state.
