The Catholic Bishop of Wau has called on all Christians to embrace a culture of peace, truth and respect for life as they celebrate Easter.
Bishop Rudolf Deng Majak said in his Easter message that the faithful need to abandon evil acts and build respect for life and justice inside their hearts. Voice of Hope reported.Bishop Deng said through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the faithful should hope for an answer to their needs.
He stressed that in his diocese people lack security and basic services.
Bishop Deng presides over the Easter Mass at St. Mary’s cathedral Wau. Thousands are expected to take part in the celebration.
