The head of the Episcopal Church of Sudan or ECS called upon the people of South Sudan to celebrate Easter as God’s children.
Archbishop Daniel Deng Bul told CRN that Easter celebrates the death of Jesus for the salvation of all.He said salvation means peace, love and unity among the people of God.
Archbishop Deng said the resurrection of Jesus takes Christians away from worldly things.
He urged people to love the country and pray for those who want to bring back suffering and death.
Archbishop Deng asked Christians to welcome Easter by putting aside petty divisions and build the country, which is God’s gift to the people of South Sudan.
