Morobo County Executive and Deputy Executive Directors held a budgeting consultative meeting with all the heads of departments in the County.
County Commissioner Moses Simon Soro said that the meeting was important because the heads of department had to focus on the annual planning and budgeting process, the county press officer told CRN via e-mail.The Commissioner added that he hoped that the administration would follow the budget in future, by delivering tangible services to the people of Morobo County.
Mr Soro asked the heads of department to work as a team to review the previous and the current year’s performance and the projects proposed for implementation according to the priorities in the County.
The various heads of department wanted more staff, capacity building of the already employed staff, offices, schools, health centres, feeder roads, mechanization of agriculture, and provision of clean water.
They said, the previous years each department prepared its budget but nothing was implemented.
