Women from Tonj East and South in Warrap state have seriously decried unnecessary conflicts and brutal killings ongoing in Greater Tonj.
Speaking after a meeting for Warrap reconstruction for peace and human security workshop organised by World Vision, Ajok Deng Acuil from Tonj East said the community lacked awareness on peace.Ms Deng called on the government to carry out civic education on peace building to educate the communities on the benefits of peace in the country.
Nyandeng Geng from Tonj South accused men of encouraging youth to fight.
She said peace could prevail only if women got involved in public administration at courts, chiefs and other administrative works.
