The Speaker of the National Legislative Assembly and Deputy Chairman of SPLM told his party members in Juba County to work hard and combat poverty.
James Wani Igga warned that a political party and government that do not deliver would be kicked out of power, Radio Bakhita reported.He stressed the need to reduce the level of poverty and improve the living standard of the population through better policies.
Mr Igga told SPLM Juba County to prepare for the upcoming SPLM National Convention, the National Liberation Council and the Political Bureau meetings.
He also urged them to implement the resolution of the Equatoria Conference in letter and spirit.
Mr Igga was speaking during the SPLM Juba County meeting to discuss party’s policies and structure on Saturday in Juba.
