167 wardens will graduate at the end of February in Tonj Central Prison of Warrap State.
Prison Director Fadela Majok Mabior told Don Bosco Radio that the wardens have been undergoing training at the Akelkeu Centre for the last 50 days.He said the trainees were both men and women.
Mr Majok explained that they would be dispatched to Tonj North, Tonj East and Tonj South after their graduation.
He said inadequate housing and lack of water were the main issues the trainees faced.
Mr Majok announced that the Central Prison in Tonj South would get a new wall and office buildings.
He added that construction and renovation works would be completed by July.
