ARCHBISHOP CALLS CHRISTIANS TO REFLECT ON SINS

The Archbishop of the Episcopal Church of the Sudan (ECS) on Thursday had called on the Christians to reflect on their sins as they prepare to celebrate Christmas.

Daniel Deng Bul told Bakhita Radio that for Christians to celebrate Christmas happily, they must reflect on bad things they did in the past.

He said the birth of Jesus Christ was to safe the sinners and led them away from the sins.
Archbishop Deng urged all people to be responsible for their own safety given the insecurity in Juba town.

The Archbishop appealed to the people of Wau not to destroy the country urging the government not to react vigorously to avoid losing lives.

He said violence gives chances to the enemy to divide the people.

Archbishop Deng called on the government to protect the civilians in Wau so that they enjoy the Christmas season.

Majority of citizens in Juba on Wednesday told Bakhita Radio that they are worried of the insecurity situation and that they will not celebrate Christmas happily.
