The Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Wau has on Sunday called for calm, reflection and dialogue after Wau incident that claimed nine lives and injured many.
Presiding over Eucharistic celebration on the second Sunday of Advent, Rudolf Deng Majak said fighting should not happen again over the Wau County transfer or any other occasion.He revealed that Wau religious leaders have scheduled to meet the Western Bahr El Ghazal State Governor on Monday over Sunday and Saturday incident.
Bishop Deng said nation building is much more difficult than destroying a nation.
He urged citizens to repent and reconcile with one another because the word of God is the light of life.
Bishop Deng appealed for continuous prayers so that people are liberated from all sins and sufferings.
