Citizens of Greater Tombura in Western Equatoria State have organized a two days development conference in Tombura County.
The State Governor, Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro in his opening remarks, urged the people to refrain from tribalism and hatred to realize development, Anisa Radio reported.He explained that development should start in small scale rather than big expectation in the beginning.
The Catholic Bishop of Tombura/Yambio Diocese, Edwardo Hiiboro Kusala urged the community of Greater Tombura to cooperate and concentrate on time frames.
Tombura Press Secretary David Bakundiri said the conference aimed at identifying the causes of underdevelopment and find a way forward to socioeconomic development.
The conference under the theme: “building route for sustainable development in greater Tombura”, brought together 130 participants from Ezo, Tombura and Nagero Counties.
