OXFORD COLLEGE OPENS IN JUBA

Oxford International College, an English School was officially opened on Tuesday in Juba to help people who want to learn English at various levels.

The school was opened under the theme: Fountains of Education, Bakhita Radio reported.

Charles Apudo, Deputy Director told the crowd that his College was established to help South Sudanese learn English Language.

He said the long civil war in the Sudan interrupted many South Sudanese from going to school and learn English.

Mr Apudo said the school would also empower those who had their education in Arabic language to learn English language.

He said his College currently has six operational departments including English Language Department, Communications, Information Technology and Computer courses among others.

The Principle of the College said the College is not established for commercial purposes, but to help boost the need of education in South Sudan
