The director of hygiene and sanitation for Baach Payam in Aweil East County of Northern Bahr El Ghazal has condemned mobile vendors of medicines at local markets for putting public health at risk.
Manut Makuei Riing said too much heat affected the quality of the drugs, Internews reported.He added that some drug sellers move from one market to another selling drugs and the sun spoils the medicines.
He adds that some sell expired drugs too.
Mr Makuei urged the mobile drug dealers to stop their illegal and dangerous trade.
He added that the culprits would be punished.
