One person was killed on Sunday in stampede following a fight at a marriage reception in Kaya Boma of Morobo County, Central Equatoria.
Security sources said dnine suspects involve in the fight were already in police custody.Morobo County Commissioner, Moses Simon Soro, sent condolences to the family of the deceased and assured them that justice will be served.
He ordered the suspects to be brought to the County Police Headquarters for proper investigation.
Mr Simon urged the people of Morobo County to remain peaceful and united and allow the police to do their job.
He said nobody should take the law into his or her hand.
County inspector of the police Yuang Makieth said there was some tension in the area.
